3 THINGS ALL WOMEN WORRY ABOUT AT THEIR BOUDOIR SHOOT BUT SHOULDN’T

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that a boudoir session can be a little intimidating. Heck, it’s downright terrifying to strip down to your lingerie and have photos taken. But you know what? I promise that it’s not as hard as you think it is. At Provocateur Images, we pride ourselves on making the whole experience super-fun and really easy. We thought we’d share 3 things that all women worry about when it comes to their boudoir session but as it turns out, they shouldn’t worry about because we’ve got you covered.

I Need To Lose 10 Pounds…

Nope… I promise that you do not. I’m an expert when it comes to posing people of every shape and size. You know that old saying, “The Camera adds 10 pounds…” Well with the right pose you can take off 20 pounds. That’s why you see the women on my site and think they are models. Guess what… They are not. They just took my direction (and I give a lot of it) and rocked their sessions. I also am really good at styling you at your session with what you bring. The right wardrobe is also key to looking great. SO as you can see, you don’t need to lose any weight. You’re awesome as you are!

I’m Super Awkward In Front Of The Camera…

You know, everyone says that… And then it’s NEVER the case. I think it’s got something to do with the fact that I really put emphasis on coaching you and teaching you the right boudoir pose so we nail the shot. The one thing I can tell you is that boudoir is not always about eye contact with the camera so that makes things easier too. Boudoir is about using body language to create the sexy mood not always using your facial expression to do that. I make everyone a promise at the start of their session at my Toronto boudoir studio. And that promise is, that all you have to is take my direction and I’ll make you look stunning. You don’t need to know anything about body language or expression. That’s my job.

I Don’t Know What To Wear…

That’s ok. That’s where my experience comes in. When you book you’re going to get a handy-dandy preparation guide which has all sorts of ideas for different body types and what to look for when it comes to wardrobe. You’ll also get a list of stores that you might want to check out. About a week before your session we’re also going to have a video chat to finalize your wardrobe selection. You just have to have your outfits laid out and we’ll go through them and pick out the best ones for your session.
