“I have been thinking hard about what I would like to say about my Provocateur Images Experience. Throughout my whole life, I have struggled with body image and comparing myself to others. I would put myself down and get sad about not being a certain size or not looking like the girls in the magazines. It took me a long long time to see through all the BS I was putting myself through. I needed a little self-love.
When I arrived for my photo session, it was amazing!! Champagne, hair & makeup and girl talk with the makeup artist. And then it was time for the photo shoot. Putting yourself out there and dressing sexy in front of someone you barely know sounds super intimidating, but Trevor made me feel like we had always been friends, he was professional, funny and so helpful, which made me feel more relaxed and confident. I would have to say it was one of the best experiences of my life. It empowered me.
When I saw the pictures I was in shock. That was me and I felt proud of the confident women I have learned to love and celebrate. When I talk about the experience with others I get choked up because it really was a special experience that was just for me. I think every woman should have an experience like this. I want every woman to see how beautiful they are inside and out. Every time I look at my photos I say to myself… That’s you! You are confident and beautiful and never forget it! My photos are a constant reminder to put my self forward and to love my self before I can let anyone else.” – Miss H
