Do You Share My Images?
Our number one priority is making sure my clients are comfortable, especially with a boudoir session. It can be a life-changing experience, but that also makes it nerve-racking! In rare instances, we may use shots from your session that are completely anonymous meaning your face and any identifying marks such as tattoos or beauty marks would be removed. And although pretty much everyone is ok with usage like that, it all depends on your personal preferences. If you’d like no images to be used from your session, all you have to do is say so. Any images you see on my site where you can see a person’s face, that person has given permission for me to use that image.
I’m Freaking out, How Can I Calm My Nerves?
Being nervous coming into a session is completely normal. Part of the whole experience and why is so rewarding at the end is because of those nerves. All you have to do is show up and my hair and makeup team will have a great chat with you as you sip on a glass of champagne. An hour of pampering will go a long way to making you feel relaxed. After hair and makeup is done, you have only one job. Listen to me. If you can take me direction, I promise I’ll make you look awesome-r than you already are. The one thing all of my clients say after their session is how easy it actually is. You may not believe me now, but after your session you can tell me I was right.
Do You Retouch My Images?
I edit all images for brightness, colour balance and to give them my signature look but when it comes to changing how you look, that requires a little more guidance on your part. I don’t edit out anything permanent such as stretch marks, scars etc… unless you request it. My philosophy is that it’s your body and it’s not my place to decide what should be included or not included. All you ever have to do is ask and I can make it happen.
Is Hair & Makeup Included?
Hair and make up is included in all of our boudoir shoots. I think it’s really important for you to feel pampered and having your hair and make up done it’s a great way to do that. My amazing team can help you complete your look, whether that’s “I just woke up like this”, or full on glam! You can bring any ideas you want for your make up and we can use it for inspiration.
I have No Idea What To Wear…
You don’t have to wear lingerie specifically. It all depends on your personality! There’s so many other options to choose from in a boudoir sessions that aren’t lacy and frilly. You could wear a sports jersey, dress shirt or nothing at all. It’s entirely up to you.
There are many places to go buy lingerie and it depends on the style you want. Of course the most common places would be Victoria’s Secret, LaSenza, La Vie En Rose. But there are also a number of other great independent lingerie retailers in Toronto for you to check out.
We’re going to shoot 2-3 outfits at your session. We’re also going to plan out those outfits ahead of time at your wardrobe consult call a few days in advance of your session.
